The stylings and thoughts of a stay at home mom keeping up with a small whirl wind. Some good, some bad.

Babygirl went back to school today. She is super excited. When I dropped her off this morning, she told me "Don't get lonely without me!" I'm excited too, but I am missing her! That being said, my day has already been at least twice as productive as it is with her around!

Had a lovely weekend! Celebrated six years of marriage with my (mostly) wonderful husband!
Most of the day of our anniversary was spent with my brother and our bees extracting honey. (Yes, we spent the hottest weekend of the year in bee suits! No, we did not smell nice when we were done...) We took four gallons of honey which we were excited about. Being that this is the first year for our hives we were not sure if we were going to be able to take any, but one of the hives is really productive! After extracting was over Hubby and I had a wonderful dinner at a local Italian restaurant!
I also found these great (but extremely large) pictures at a local thrift store! I was hoping that they would work in the bedroom, but they are too big, so I'm moving them around the house to see where they will work. I think they will end up in the family room or the living room. They remind me of the trip my Mother and I took to Italy when I was in college.
