*sigh*  Babygirl asked me this morning if she can go to a different school next year.  I have not exactly been thrilled with the new school as a parent, but Babygirl has been doing really well, and until this morning I thought she was relatively happy at the new school.  I told her that if she wants we can look into a new school for next year.

Having talked to the other moms from Babygirl's old school most of them (and they feel a large number of their children) are also unhappy with their current schools.  That is what happens when you get to be at the "too good to be true" school.  If only they would have been able to stay open, I (and the other moms) would have a perfect solution to the "I'm not happy with the new school" dilemma.  Being that the school has closed, and (in spite of previous rumors) does not seem to be planning to reopen, I don't have any easy or great solution for Babygirl.  Even our second choice school (another private school) is rumored to be closing.  There just aren't many options around here for private schools.  Many of our public schools are really good around here (hence the problem with private schools closing--many parents don't see any need to pay for a "better" education when their children are already going to a good school) but have gotten to be really big.  We had hoped to allow Babygirl a smaller school with a more personalized education.

I told Babygirl it would probably take a couple of weeks to start looking at new schools.  I want to make sure that this isn't just a bad week, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it isn't.  I think I may be headed back to the proverbial drawing board.

Today's outfit is not very inspired, but it is cozy and comfortable.  For the last couple of weeks I have been rather depressed, and this outfit is rather reflective of my recent moods.  Thankfully today I finally feel as if the fog may be starting to lift.  I'm crossing my fingers that it is and that I can return to my normal(ish) self.
