Apologies for the hiatus...
Things got hectic around the holidays, and then the weather turned REALLY awful, so Babygirl and I weren't leaving the house unless we NEEDED to (Hubby was even picking up most of the groceries!) and I'm sure you don't want to see the clothes I hang around the house in! (I'm sure I don't really want them being seen unless absolutely necessary! lol!) It is usually just leggings and a sweater or sweatshirt... not much fun. Once we finally started leaving the house again it we were really busy starting to get ready for our trip and I didn't have time to post anything!
Once we got back I had a short amount of time to plan and create Babygirl's THIRD birthday party! (There might be post on that if there are any good pictures. We had a girly tea party. I made cute little hats, and we served tea, tea sandwiches, mimosas, petit fours and macaroons. Babygirl was thrilled; it was a far cry from her usual tea parties in the hallway.)
I did take some ootd pictures which have (finally!) been posted. Now that I'm all caught up I'll try to stay current again.
We have a visit to a preschool tomorrow. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet. It is sad to see her getting older and leaving me, but it will be nice to have some free time as well. Definitely a mixed feelings event! Babygirl is super-excited about going to "school" though. I hope she likes it tomorrow and the school meets our expectations and needs (it certainly is highly recommended.)
I'm really excited to see some warmer weather too! Winter has certainly been lingering here in SE WI. Normally it would be warmer and most of the snow melted, instead of two feet still on the ground and continuing to drop flakes... Hoping we are turning the corner on the weather. I can't wait for all the fun that comes with being able to spend more time outside. Babygirl has already announced that she would like four (!) hula hoops!
Maximus wanted in on the photo today!
Sweater: Gap; Camisole: Target; Jeans: Lucky; Scarf: brought back from France (they are really cheap there); Boots: Croft & Barrow
