Hubby was off today, so we had a lovely family day. We took Babygirl to the local strawberry picking farm--something she had been looking forward to ever since I told her about it! It has been raining a lot lately, so the fields were kind of soggy. Babygirl and I were glad we wore our "puddle boots" (as she calls them.)
We also visited a local farm stand and picked up some sweet corn and a local butcher to buy ribs for tomorrow's feast.
Hubby and I discovered we have a harvestable cucumber in our garden! The first produce from our garden this year (other than herbs)!
Planning on leftovers for dinner to clean out the fridge a bit, then a bit of outside play time. It is a good day.
